A mini backflip I taped 2007 with the capoeira team Pequeños Mandinueiros. If you want to learn this, you should work on your normal back tucks first. This is a bit harder, because you can't gain that much height. ( you don't extend you knees fully as you jump off )

One-legged Frontflip Stepout
A pretty cool one-legged frontflip stepout I taped with the Pequeños Mandingueiros in La Paz Bolivia. It's a bit like a cartwheel without hands, only that the strength really comes from one leg. That's something I never tried before, so I can't give you any advice on this. Maybe learn the cartwheel without hands and without running too fast.

There is a butterfly twist and a cartwheel without hands in this form.

Shomenuchi Ikkyo Omote
This video shows a Shomenuchi Ikkyo Omote. The Shomenuchi Ikkyo is one of the most frequently practiced aikido techniques. Shomenuchi = Attack with one hand. Omote = Front side. When you apply a Shomenuchi Ikkyo Omote, your opponent is forced to turn around while you keep looking to the same dircetion.
Receive the strike and push your opponents arm down at the shoulder and the wrist, so that he looks away from you.

This video shows a Shomenuchi Ikkyo Ura. Shomenuchi = Attack with one hand. Ura = Back side. The Shomenuchi Ikkyo is one of the most popular aikido skills. When you apply a Shomenuchi Ikkyo Ura, you grab your opponents arm, turn around and push him down when he passes. Receive the strike and grab your opponents arm at the wrist and the shoulder. Step away with the leg where you your opponent attacked. Turn 180° while holding your opponents arm, let him pass and push him down.

Shomenuchi Iriminage is one of the most basic aikido movements and beginners find themselves practicing this technique for months when they enter an aikido club. Katatedori Shihonage Omote
This video shows a Katatedori Shihonage Omote. Omote = Front side. This is one of the most basic aikido skills. Katatedori Shihonage Omote only works when your opponent attacks you with his lead arm. Grab your opponents wrist with both hands and pass in front of his chest, while moving his arm up in a circular motion. Then turn around ( away from him ) and pull him over like if you were doing a hip wheel. Pull his arm in a big circle. Be careful with his elbows and his shoulders when you first try this technique !

Katatedori Shihonage Ura
This video shows a Katatedori Shihonage Ura. Ura = Back side. Back side, because when you begin the Katatedori Shihonage Ura movement, you first turn your back towards your opponent. The main difference between Katatedori Shihonage Ura and Katatedori Shihonage Omote is, that one technique is executed stepping in to the front side of your opponent, and the other one is executed stepping in to the back side of your opponent.
When you step in to the back side, you also have to turn your back towards your opponent at the beginning. Katatedori Shihonage Ura only works when your opponent attacks you with his lead hand. Grab your opponents wrist with both hands and step in to the back side of your opponent, so that you stand back to back for a short moment. Then pull his arm over your shoulders and throw him like if you were doing a normal hip wheel. Pull his arm in a big circle.
