Double Leg Heel Shot - Wushu Rope Dart

The double leg heel shot is a rope dart trick that looks like a normal double leg shot, but at the end you shoot the dart with a heel back shot instead of throwing it back with the hand. Before you try this, you should learn the double leg shot and of course the heel back shot.

Heel Back Shot - Wushu Rope Dart

This video shows how to do a heel back shot with a wushu rope dart. The heel back shot is a technique where you swing the dart sideways onto your foot ( side kick position ), wind the rope around your heel and shoot the dart backwards ( towards the standing leg ). There isn't much to say about this move, but unfortunately it requires a lot of timing. The heel back shot is technically similar to the foot bounce shot.

The Tan Ti is a wushu kick usually practiced in every warmup routine. This kick is executed at hip height. Raise your knee and then kick with the ankle fully extended and punch at the same time. When you kick the right leg, punch with the left hand and the other way around. Don't elevate the heel of the standing leg and keep your upper body and the standing leg straight and vertically aligned. Look staight foward and kick each leg 4 times. Performed by Lu Peng Cheng from the Song Jiang Wushu School. Coach: Wang Guang Ming ( wushu competition team ).
