Left Right Circle - Wushu Whip Chain

The left right circle is one of the most basic whip chain techniques. Swing your whip from left to right alternately. You can try this right after learning the empty circle. Just make sure you keep your whip close to your body, stand upright and look straight forward.

This video shows how to combine front hand hook punch and back hand straight punch ( left right combination ) . The front hand hook punch is usually thrown first. Watch the hip movement in the first punch. Keep your right hand close to your chin to protect your head. Then throw a back hand punch, which is even stronger ( back hand punches are stronger, but because the distance to the impact is longer, it's easier see them coming ) . Watch the hip movement and the back leg when Li Xin throws the second punch. Now the left hand is close to the chin.
