This video shows a wushu class training the spear hand drop stance form. This little basic form is usually practiced after the basic wushu kicks and before the jumps. Performed by the wushu xiao dui of the song jiang wushu school.

Elbow Block Punch

This video shows how to apply an elbow block punch. When your opponent grabs your chest with his right hand, put your right hand on the right side of his wrist, so that he can't escape to the right. Then push his elbow with your left hand to the right. The elbow of his right hand is not supposed to move this way and his hand is locked on your chest, so if he doesn't escape, he will get his arm injured. Of course you can also punch your left hand on his elbow or apply this technique when your opponent punches to your chest or your head, but this way you would injure his elbow seriously. So please don't apply this self defense technique if you are not in a serious fight.
