Trunk Shot - Wushu Rope Dart
This video shows a basic trunk shot with a rope dart. This is one of the most
basic techniques where you wind the rope around your upper body. First shoot
the dart straight back and when it comes back, let it pass behind the back.
Then turn to the left and grab the rope with your right hand ( under the left
arm ). Lift it and grasp the rope with your left hand ( now the rope is fixed
). For the walking steps check the video. Swing the rope dart under your left shoulder and backwards
up over your right shoulder. Then catch it with your right hand when it comes
back down and turn 180 degrees to the left. Finally swing the dart forward
up and release the part of the rope you are holding with your left hand. The rope will now fall over your
back and you will be able to shoot the dart straight forward. You should be
able to learn this trick within 3 hours
( if you are a beginner ).
