42 Taiji Sword Form

This video shows the 42 taiji sword form ( si shi er shi - taiji jian ). The 42 form is a mixed form used for competitions. Before you start learning taiji sword forms, work on your taijiquan ( quan = fist ) forms.

This video shows the big straightsword circle ( wu hua jian ). Keep your wrist relaxed and turn zour upper body with the movement of the sword. Keep your hand close to truck when you swing the sword behind the back.

Dadao Wuhua - Wushu Pudao

This video shows how to do a wuhua ( five flower ) movement with a wushu pudao. The wuhua movement with the pudao and the wuhua movement with the staff are identical. Keep the stick close to the body, stand upright ( right foot forward ) and look straight forward.

Pi Dao - Pudao Chop

This video shows how to do a pudao chop ( in chinese: pi dao ). Slice the blade forward down and stop with the right hand at the hip and the left arm extended.
