The 360 Staff Smash is a staff smash variation where you jump from one leg, jump 360 degrees, land in a pubu and smash the staff on the floor. Hollow your back and hold the staff behind the back when you are in the air. Don't smash the staff ( shuai gun ) too early.

Some things the video doen't show very well:
1) The staff should be smashed on the flor parallel to the left leg.
2) Look straight forward.

Performed by Lu Peng Cheng from the song Jiang wushu school.

This video is for those who are working on their butterfly kicks/twists with a long weapon ( staff / spear ). Variation 2 is also good for the 3-sectional staff abd both variations are ok fr the pudao. Just watch the video and follow the instructions. My personal training method: Before you try b-twists with a long weapon, you can try it with a long piece of foam roll bar ( construction garbage ). So if you fall, you will not hurt yourself. There isn't really much to say about this move. Of course your should learn the frontsweep ( qiansao ) without hands before you try this. Move the sword in a horizontal layer and keep your upper body as upright as possible. Performed by Lu Peng Cheng from the Song Jiang Wushu School. Coach: Wang Guang Ming from Song Jiangs Wushu-1-Team.

This video shows how to attach the flags to your whip chain. You need flags ( plastic is better than silk ), sticky tape and of course a whip chain. Silk flags look good, but most people use crumpable plastic flags, becasue they clatter loud and make it easier to control the whip ( slows it down ). Buy the sticky tape in a drugstore.

The flag should be square size of the last 2 sections of your whip.

Attach the front flag with 4 pieces of sticky tape to the last 2 sections of your whip. Each piece of tape should be finger length.

Attach the 2nd flag to the handle.
For most techniques the second flag doesn't matter, but originally the whip chain has 2 flags and there are a handful traditional techniques where you release the handle for a moment.
