When you do a bow stance ( in chinese: gong bu ), extend the back leg and keep both heels on the floor. The thigh of the front leg should be parallel to the floor and the shin of the front leg should be vertical. In modern wushu, the feet are in one line and the stance is wide. Look straight forward and keep your upper body upright ( don't crouch down ). The front foot points straight forward and the back foot is 45 degees. For more info, please heck the animated tutorial. This was taped by Mavi at the Song Jian Wushu School. Performed by: Yang Jia Le. Coach: Wang Guang Ming - Wushu Competition Team.
