This is how you do a sidekick ( ce shuai tui ) in taolu - wushu. Practice Both sides, left and right. Cross-step forward with the right leg and open both arms in a cirular motion ( elbows fully extended ). Then cross your hands in front of the chest. Lift the knee and do a sidekick ( for more info - seach for the animated tutorial ) and extend both arms to the sides. Fully extend both knees and look to your right foot. Hold this position for half a second. If you do traditional wushu, you can try to hold the sidekick longer. You should kick hip-height or higher. Performed by Lu Peng Cheng from the Song Jiang Wushu School. Coach: Wang Guang Ming ( wushu competition team ).
