Straightsword - Length & How to Carry

In this lesson you will learn how long your straightsword should be and how to carry it. Hold the straightsword in your left hand and fully extend the elbow like shown in the video. The top of the sword should now be at ear-height or slightly above. The straightsword can be slightly longer than the broadsword. Hold the handle with the pointer extended and then turn your hand around so that the top of the sword is behind your shoulder. That's the formal way to carry your straightsword.
