Gui Ding Quan is probably "THE" most important free hand wushu form. Everybody in China who learns wushu, first learns the stances and the basic kicks, then "wu bu quan" ( 5 stances form ) and the first real-long-form us Gui Ding Quan ( basic form ). Some people say it's a kids form, others say it's just for modern wushu, but if you train in China, you have to learn this form, no matter what. It's like the only standard form every wushu person has to know. After that, most wushu people start learning weapons and practice freestyle forms and difficulties. Guiding means basic, and of coure there are other basics forms, like chang quan gui ding quan, but as I said, this one is the most important one.

Performed by Yang Jia Le from the Song Jiang Wushu School.
Coach: Wang Guang Ming ( wushu competition team ).
