Shoulder Grab Wrist Twist
This video shows a traditional chinese joint lock, where somebody grabs your
shoulder and you twist his wrist by turning his hand to the left and pressing
his elbow down. This lock works best when your opponent puts his hand on your
left shoulder, but of course you can also try it the other way around. First
put your left hand on top of your opponents hand and grab the outside of your
palm
(
see
video
).
Then
put
your
right hand
on
his
upper
arm ( just above the elbow ). The lock is applied by twisting his hand to the
left while pushing his elbow down. This is much more painful than it looks,
so don't do this too fast when you first try it on your little brother.
