Double Leg Shot - Wushu Rope Dart

This video shows how to do a double leg shot with a wushu rope dart ( sheng biao / sheng bian ). Wind the rope dart around your left leg and grasp the rope with your right hand. Then wind the rope around your right leg and again grasp the rope with your right hand. If you would now open your right hand, the rope would fall out behind your legs. Keep swinging the dart and shoot it straight back. At the same time open both hands, turn 180 degrees to the left and catch the rope with your right hand, while the dart flies straight forward. The first part of this trick is very easy, but the last part requires a lot of timing. The stomp you can see in the video above just makes the whole thing look faster, but isn't really part of the technique. Before you try this you should learn all the rope dart skills where you wind the dart around one limb and shoot it straight.
